¿Cuándo y cómo se realiza?

La próxima edición la 83.ª de los Golden Globes se celebrará el 11 de enero de 2026, en el emblemático hotel The Beverly Hilton, en California. Previo a la gala, el anuncio oficial de nominados se hará público el 8 de diciembre de 2025, marcando oficialmente el arranque de la temporada de premios.

¿Por qué los Golden Globes importan tanto?

Desde su creación en 1944, cuando nació como un reconocimiento de la prensa internacional especializada en entretenimiento, los Globos han evolucionado hasta convertirse en un puente entre cine y televisión: galardonan películas, series, actores, directores, comedias, dramas… lo mejor de ambos mundos.

A nivel de industria, ganar o figurar en los Golden Globes puede marcar el inicio de una campaña hacia otros premios (como los Oscar o los Emmy) y otorgar visibilidad global. Además, para los fans representa una celebración de sus producciones favoritas, y un momento ideal para redescubrir grandes películas o series.

¿Quiénes están nominados en 2026?

La lista de nominados para los Golden Globes 2026 ya fue anunciada. Entre los títulos más reconocidos en la edición 2026 destacan One Battle After Another, con nueve nominaciones, seguido por Sentimental Value (ocho nominaciones) y Sinners (siete nominaciones). En televisión, entre las producciones más nominadas figura The White Lotus con seis nominaciones.

Además, este año los Golden Globes incluyen una novedad interesante: por primera vez se considerará una categoría de Mejor Podcast, ampliando su alcance a nuevos formatos de entretenimiento más allá del cine y la TV.

Los mexicanos que destacaron en el listado de este año son Guillermo del Toro por ‘Frankenstein’ y Diego Luna volvió con su trabajo en ‘Andor’.
